Happy Sunday my brethren. Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when l fall, l shall arise; when l sit in darkness, the Lord shall be a light unto me. Micah 7:8 KJV. We must learn not to keep silent in the face of the enemy's mockery of our lives because of the challenges we are going through. We must learn to answer the mockery of the enemy by speaking forth our expectations and the positive outcome of the events of our lives. There is a comeback to every setback and your COMEBACK shall be greater than your setback. God will enlarge your mouth over your enemies and you shall have the last laugh in the Name of Jesus Christ..Amen!!!. You are breaking through on every side. Good morning and Happy Sunday. Read MoreGood morning my good people of God. DOMINION MANDATE DAILY DEVOTIONAL SUNDAY, AUGUST 23RD, 2020 ACCEPTABLE SERVICE BIBLE READING: 1 SAMUEL 12:13-15 Therefore, since we receive a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us show gratitude, and offer to God pleasing service and acceptable worship with reverence and awe; for our God is [indeed] a consuming fire. Hebrews 12:28-29(AMP). Service refers to the action of helping, doing something for someone or meeting the needs of another person or authority. The importance of service cannot be overemphasized as we illustrated in our devotional series on sonship last month. Service has been described as a pathway to greatness as highlighted by Jesus Christ in Matthew 23:11-12(MSG); "Do you want to stand out? Then step down. Be a servant. If you puff yourself up, you will get the wind knocked out of you. But if you're content to simply be yourself, your life will count for plenty." To make our lives count on earth and to be able to serve God and humanity, God equipped us specially with spiritual gifts to enable us to serve Him acceptably or in accordance with His terms. It is important to understand that God is neither helpless nor depends on our service to survive, rather it is a privilege to be in the Lord’s workforce for the advancement of His Kingdom agenda on earth. 1 Timothy 1:12(AMP) says, I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who has granted me [the needed] strength and made me able for this, because He considered me faithful and trustworthy, putting me into service [for this ministry]. Since God has given us this rare privilege to serve, we must serve God acceptably in accordance with His conditions. The foundation of any service to God is to offer ourselves wholeheartedly to Him before our works or substance can be acceptable – Romans 12:1 (NKJV), I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. After we have offered ourselves to God, some additional conditions must be met for our service to be acceptable unto God. One of such conditions is that: Our service must be motivated by love- Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing. (1Cor. 13:1-3). Likewise, in 1 Corinthians 16:14 we are admonished, "Let all that you do be done with love." And Hebrews 6:10 says, "For God is not unjust to forget your work and labour of love which you have shown toward His name, in that you have ministered to the saints, and do minister." PRAYER: •Repent from anyway or manner you had served or worshipped God on your own terms or offered unacceptable service unto God. •Ask God for grace to serve Him acceptably. CONFESSION: •I have been equipped with special gifts by the Holy Spirit to serve God acceptably and bring glory to His Name. •Since I serve God acceptably in truth and in Spirit, no evil or plague shall come near me.
Read MoreI never knew this wow! HOW EACH OF THE APOSTLES DIED. 1. Matthew Suffered martyrdom in Ethiopia, killed by a sword wound. 2. Mark Died in Alexandria, Egypt , after being dragged by Horses through the streets until he was dead. 3. Luke Was hanged in Greece as a result of his tremendous preaching to the lost. 4. John Faced martyrdom when he was boiled in huge Basin of Boiling Oil during a wave of persecution in Rome. However, he was miraculously delivered from death. John was then sentenced to the mines on the prison Island of Patmos. He wrote his prophetic Book of Revelation on Patmos. The apostle John was later freed and returned to serve as Bishop of Edessa in modern Turkey. He died as an old man, the only apostle to die peacefully. 5. Peter He was crucified upside down on an X-shaped cross. According to church tradition it was because he told his tormentors that he felt unworthy to die In the same way that Jesus Christ had died. 6. James The leader of the Church in Jerusalem , was thrown over a hundred feet down from the southeast pinnacle of the Temple when he refused to deny his faith in Christ. When they discovered that he survived the fall, his enemies beat James to death with a fuller's club. * This was the same pinnacle where Satan had taken Jesus during the Temptation. 7. James (the Son of Zebedee) Was a fisherman by trade when Jesus called him to a lifetime of ministry. As a strong leader of the church, James was beheaded at Jerusalem. The Roman officer who guarded James watched amazed as James defended his faith at his trial. Later, the officer walked beside James to the place of execution. Overcome by conviction, he declared his new faith to the judge and knelt beside James to accept beheading as a Christian. 8. Bartholomew Also known as Nathaniel was a missionary to Asia. He witnessed for our Lord in present day Turkey. Bartholomew was martyred for his preaching in Armenia where he was flayed to death by a whip. 9. Andrew Was crucified on an x-shaped cross in Patras, Greece. After being whipped severely by seven soldiers they tied his body to the cross with cords to prolong his agony. His followers reported that, when he was led toward the cross, Andrew saluted it in these words: '' I have long desired and expected this happy hour. The cross has been consecrated by the body of Christ hanging on it.'' He continued to preach to his tormentors for two days until he expired. 10. Thomas Was stabbed with a spear in India during one of his missionary trips to establish the church in the Sub-continent. 11. Jude Was killed with arrows when he refused to deny his faith in Christ. 12. Matthias The apostle chosen to replace the traitor Judas Iscariot, was stoned and then beheaded. 13. Paul Was tortured and then beheaded by the evil Emperor Nero at Rome in A.D. 67. Paul endured a lengthy imprisonment, which allowed him to write his many epistles to the churches he had formed throughout the Roman Empire. These letters, which taught many of the foundational Doctrines of Christianity, form a large portion of the New Testament. Perhaps this is a reminder to us that our sufferings here are indeed minor compared to the intense persecution and cold cruelty faced by the Apostles and Disciples during their times for the sake of the Faith. And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: But he that endureth to the end shall be saved. Pass on to encourage other Christians Why Do we feel sleepy in Prayer, But stay awake through a 3 hour movie ? Why are we so bored when we look at the HOLY BOOK, But find it easy to read other books ? Why is it so easy to ignore a message about God, Yet we forward the nasty ones ? Why are Prayers getting smaller, But bars and clubs are expanding Why is it so easy to worship a celebrity, But very difficult to engage with God ? Think about it, are you going to forward this ? Are you going to ignore it, because you think you will get laughed at ? Forward this to all your friends. 80% of you won't forward this. God said: If you deny me in front of your friends, I will deny you on the day of judgment: When one door closes, God opens two: If God has opened doors for you, send this message to everyone on your contact list. Make this message your contribution to the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, Be Blessed.

But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men. (Matthew 16:22-23) Sometimes human compassion may be too dangerous to a persons vision and purpose in life. Jesus knew He must go to Jerusalem to complete His assessment on earth. Anything or person that will stop Him from that mission is considered a vision killer. Peter, though an Apostle, tried to talk Christ away from His vision but Christ quickly knew that was the voice of an enemy and REBUKED HIM SHARPLY. GET THEE BEHIND ME SATAN. Peter was acting in compassion but that was human feelings that can destroy spiritual decisions. Jesus will never allow that. Satan made dangerous offer to Jesus in Luke 4:9-8) yet Jesus rebuked him GET THEE BEHIND ME SATAN. My dear, there are people you need to rebuke and avoid. Any person who tries to talk you away from your Covenant with God. Whatever tries to stop your Zeal for God is dangerous. Rebuke sharply. I do not care who that person is to you. Peter was a disciple of Christ. Be careful. They come like good counselors but their razor is that of Delilah. What took you away from choir? What stopped you from church activities? What killed your Zeal for God. Check well. REBUKE THEM AND FOLLOW YOUR VISION IN LIFE. Shalom.

(Luke 18:8) It is already a global acceptance that Jesus will come again to this earth according to the scriptures. That Jesus will come again to this earth is a truth known to almost every single person on the planet earth. There is no doubt about the second coming of Christ, especially to the Christians. In the scripture we read, Jesus asked a very important question. WHEN THE SON OF MAN COMETH, SHALL HE FIND FAITH ON THE EARTH? My dear, Faith is an integral part of our salvation. The Bible says that the Just shall live by faith (Hebrews 10:38) Here this, the battle we are facing today is the battle against our faith. Satan will do everything to make men doubt God and doubt the word of God. Faith is the foundation of our Christian life. The Bible says that WITHOUT FAITH IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO PLEASE GOD (Hebrews 11:6). God makes it clear in Hebrews 10:38, that "If any man draws back(from faith) my soul shall have no pleasure in him" My dear, no matter the challenges of life, no matter the pressures of this world, PROTECT YOUR FAITH. If you loose your faith in God you have lost all. Faith sees possibilities and not impossibilities. God is looking for your faith always. Don't let anything temper with your faith. Keep on believing for the just shall live by his faith. Shalom.
Read MoreTHIS OUR GOD. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. (Genesis 1:2-3) This our God can create something out of nothing. Our scripture above explains that before God spoke the world into existence, it was formless and void. He really made the world out of nothing. If THIS OUR GOD can make the world out of nothing, then He can take the empty places in your life and create something beautiful. Do you need a miracle in your life for something that seems impossible? With man it may be, but THIS OUR GOD is all-powerful and can create something out of nothing. (As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were. (Romans 4:17) Remember, you are created in the image of the Almighty God. There is power in your words, and there is power when you are in agreement with Him. Start saying What God says about your situation. Speak life to your broken dreams today. Speak hope into the hopeless places. Keep an attitude of faith and expectations because THIS OUR GOD will turn things around for you and create something out of nothing. My dear, THIS OUR GOD can make a way for you where there seems to be no way. He can bring back to life your dormant gifts and talents. He can make your crooked places straight. Trust Him. This our God is too much. Shalom.
